Welcome to the Medway Mainline website

What is Medway Mainline?
Medway Mainline is a network of six routes within the Medway Towns provided by Arriva’s fleet of modern buses running seven days a week* and up to every 10 minutes for most of the day on Mondays to Saturdays between approximately 7am and 7pm with evening buses as well.

* The Sunday Service 176 is priovided under contract to Medway Council by Nu-Venture and the Sunday service to Warren Wood is Service 135 (not 145) provided under contract to Kent County Council by Kent Top Travel.

Turn up and go!
Buses every 10 minutes mean you can turn up at the bus stop and if you’ve just missed a bus you know that you won’t have to wait long for the next one.

The Chatham connection
All Medway Mainline services run to and from Chatham Bus Station inside the Pentagon Shopping Centre, right in the heart of town. This allows you to change between Medway Mainline services and to make connections with Arriva’s comprehensive network of services to other parts of Medway and to surrounding places such as Bluewater, Gravesend, and Maidstone.
